- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I used to have what could be referred to as somewhat "standard rates". Although all jobs really have a lot of different factors. Also with today's economy there really isn't anything standard. Basically I need to look at the job and determine my down and dirty bottom line...of coarse I will not cut quality.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually like to set up a convenient time to come by and look at the project. This way I can see exactly what the installation requires. Also what the customer's ideas and needs are and has in mind. And of coarse answer any questions, and offer suggestions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been brought up in the family floorcovering business, located in southern California, est. in 1957. I've always enjoyed keeping well versed on the latest products, and over the years attending numerous journeyman classes and certifications for the installations of hard surface floorcoverings.
