FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My services' pricing varies depending on the project and is discussed with the client. Options range from an hourly rate to a flat rate with a maximum number of working hours. All timing is tracked through toggl.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally speaking, I work and talk directly with one or two people on the client-side. I spend a half hour to an hour on the phone with them to figure out what exactly it is that they are looking for; things like color preferences, ideas they may have, concerns, and any other information that is relevant to the project so that I can build a good list of requirements for their website build. Afterwords, I send them an email or get ahold of them over the phone again and go over everything, give an estimate on the time required, and work with the budget that they may have, or help them figure out an appropriate flat-rate fee. Then a contract is built, emailed, and given a chance for revision, after which, work begins!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a self-taught freelance web developer, designer, and programmer that has been in the industry for over 11 years. I started very young and excelled and am currently freelancing full-time.
