FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It's impossible to standardize prices for Wedding Gown Alterations because each is unique, but if you read my Yelp reviews you will find Bride after Bride telling me I should up my prices. Often a bride has been quoted $500 for alterations and my price is less than half what she was quoted. Also, the person who does the alterations is not the person who did the consultation and the Bride is very disappointed in the result. I do the fitting, the consult and personally do the alterations so the Gown always come out PERFECT!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A FREE FITTING & CONSULT with no obligation is first. Every Wedding Gown is unique as is each Bride. Making her dreams come true is what I do, so when she tries on the Gown we can discuss what she's always dreamed of and I can show her how we can make those dreams come true.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have altered Gowns for almost 30 years. Very very complex Gown, Like wedding gowns are my specialty. As the only seamstress in Las Vegas trusted with famous designer Jessica McClintocks one of a kind gowns, priced between $10,000.00-$20,000.00 and having altered over 400 wedding gowns my experience is extremely valuable to Brides. Often Brides bring gowns from "another seamstress" who said she could make it perfect, only to virtually destroy the Gown. I have had Brides come to me in tears because of someone else's mistakes only to leave over joyed with exactly what she dreamed of.
