FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My standard rate is $100.00hr shooting + $50.00hr editing. Travel, type of shooting, number of final images, final image use, & copyright ownership can all affect that pricing. I also do a small amount of work at reduced rate for non-profits and for student artists. I enjoy helping the agencies that help make my community better and I think working with student artists offers them a unique opportunity to work in a professional studio and keeps me on my toes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to establish what style of photograph my clients are looking to create and then make a plan based on making that ideal image a reality.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked as a photographer for 20 years - serving the Lawrence, Kansas City and Topeka areas as well as many years making marketing photographs for the University of Kansas and have also photographed for the Lawrence Journal World. For the past four years I have been working out of my studio in downtown Lawrence, Kansas.
