FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We arrive at a price based upon the overall scope of the project and the long-term value the new web page will bring to your business or non-profit. We strive our best to provide a fair price which is not only a fair rate for us, but (more importantly), we aim to charge based upon the value your new website will bring to helping you market your company or non-profit through a high quality web presence. The website can be a marketing tool to attract customers on a long-term basis. The client, with our guidance, selects and purchases a domain name and hosting provider. If the client desires our services for continued website maintenance and content management, we offer monthly pricing packages.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin by having a simple discussion with the customer concerning the desired scope and intent of the website, including any desired colors, logos, designs, etc. We, then, produce a prototype page design and deliver this to the customer for approval. The customer may then request changes. This process repeats until we have an agreed upon final design. After the website is designed and ready for publishing, we work with the client to choose and purchase a domain name and find a hosting site of their choosing. If desired, we also offer continued website maintenance and content management of the website.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We both hold bachelor's degree in education and are currently certified teachers in the state of Kansas. We also have Master's degrees in Instructional Design & Technology with extensive experience working with small clients and non-profit organizations, combining our love of web design and coding with business promotion and educational outreach. Additionally, we both hold certifications in eLearning and Online Teaching.
