FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is variable depending on the size of the piece(s) and the work involved.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Potential clients will send me photos of their furniture and describe their vision for the piece. Artist will follow with quotes and color ideas, suggestions, or recommendations. Scheduling and transportation are arranged and client pays 50% deposit to reserve calendar opening. Before beginning work on a piece, artist will confirm colors and finishes with the client. Progress photos are sent throughout the work time if requested, and a final photo is sent when complete. When client is satisfied and final transportation is arranged, remaining balance is due. Work time is typically 2-3 weeks depending on what the piece requires and the drying time between layers. Quality is always priority over time.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Although my academic training is in the education field, I have participated in several faux finishing technique courses. More importantly, I have spent years perfecting my painting technique and I am always learning new ways to achieve quality, durable finishes .
