- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Since I'm new to Thumbtack, I'm providing great deals right now. It's a win-win! Customers get great service, and I am able to build a new customer base. I wouldn't expect anyone to pay standard fees, when I don't have credibility on this site yet. In an attempt to help kick things off, some of my previous customers are also helping me with reviews too.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In the beginning it's critical to listen to them and find out what their needs are. Some of the biggest mistakes come from assuming you know what needs to get done or going to fast. Communication is key, from there we can get things done.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have managed Corporate Accounting teams almost 20 years, and now work with special ed students. From that I gained a wide variety of skills I am now able to train others will or put to good use today.
