Introduction: Years of working in film preservation and cinematography has trained my eye for quality. I have experience with all manners of projects, from shorts to features, video to film, motion to stills production to post-production.
For shooting projects, I am particularly well trained to deal with natural lighting, and am known to rarely use artificial lighting because the manipulation of the practical and natural and the act of embracing that which cannot be controlled in the same way, yields an organic quality that cannot be matched in my opinion.
This kind of work keeps my mind active and creative. I love being challenged by color projects, shooting projects, and others, because it makes me feel like I'm truly engaging with the material.
