Introduction: As a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, I help guide and motivate my clients to make changes in their lives. I work with my clients by holding them accountable, making goals together, and giving them the necessary skills to make the desired transformation. I practice from a directive, goal oriented approach that helps clients cope with anxiety, manage depression, work through relationship issues, learn how to communicate effectively, manage stress, and learn skills to control anger. I really enjoying working with couples and watching the transformation between the couple. Its amazing when I work with a couple that feels that their relationship is unrepairable and I get them motivated to work on their relationship and assure them it is not too late! To see how they work and refresh and renew their relationship is great. I love watching my individual clients that feel hopeless and helpless start to set goals, make plans for change, and see the meaning again in life. It is great to watch my clients mood improve week after week due to the changes and goals they have made, and new skills they have learned in therapy.
