Introduction: I’ve spent years honing my craft to serve the fitness needs of downtown LA’s growing, diverse game-changers. I believe that the best way to move this City forward, is to help you move well, move more and dare to move your world. Building from your base of movement and fitness fundamentals, I'll work with you to identify any challenges and develop a workout/nutrition program that creates positive and sustainable changes in your physique, lifestyle habits and mental resolve. I'm a lifetime student of movement and body transformation so I'm always finding new, fun and better ways to incorporate my training in numerous forms of fitness. These include flexibility training, slow-carb high veggie diets, TRX training, olympic lifts, kettlebells, body weight training, boxing, Muay Thai, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu and self-defense. Every client is different and I enjoy crafting and developing a workout and training program that fits and encourages their unique personality, circumstances and underlying goals for their body and life. Fitness and personal health improvement can be a very intimate and challenging pursuit - I am privileged to help connect my clients to these in a fun and more meaningful way.

When you hire a trainer, you're motivated to lose weight for the first time, put on muscle, or rise from the ashes and return to your former glory. I personally was the later and would not been able to hit my goal without the help of Matt. He was able to help me get results, keep me motivated, hold me accountable, and completely shift my perspective on health and wellness. With his extensive strength program, kickboxing classes, and varying cardio regiment, I was able to go from 250lbs to 179lbs. His wealth of exercise knowledge was only supplemented by his warm and understanding personality. Ever since he has moved away from NYC, he has been very difficult to replace. Without any hesitation, I highly recommend Matt to help you reach any of your fitness goals.

I am so grateful to have received training from Matt. Aside from knowing so much about physical fitness, Matt really helped me build better daily habits by being a great listener and teacher. He approaches training as both something to improve within each session as well as a more holistic, long-term approach. Highly recommended!

Matt is awesome! I started training with him when I was pregnant and continued training after having my baby. He's great at customizing your workouts and explaining how they target specific muscle groups. He's helped me stay fit and healthy, which is so important to me now that I'm a working mama!
