- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to set my fee based on an average of what might be expected to be accomplished. Some project require more work than others, but I try very hard to provide my clients with the most I possible can while staying in their budget. At the end of the day, I want a successful product that serves your needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Meet and ask a lot of questions. I want to know as much as possible about the project 2) Build a schedule and finalize the script for the project as well as a plan for the shoot and date. 3) Hire any additional crew, talent and secure equipment and locations. 4) Shoot and have a really fun time on set. 5) Edit and deliver a first version to the clients to get your notes and feedback. 6) Address client notes, color correction audio mixing and deliver a second cut. 7) Deliver the final version of the project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University. I worked as an editor for TV networks and cable companies.
