Introduction: I strive to make every interaction a memorable one. I understand that each event is of the utmost importance to my client and their guests. I do everything in my power to treat it as such. I enjoy serving others and using my work as an opportunity to create meaningful/lasting impressions. When I get hired, I know the expectation is for me to perform the associated duties with a certain level of competence. However, I take each job as an opportunity to release the pressures of hosting from my clients and free them to fully engage with their guests. Events are created for the guests' benefit, leave the rest to me. Serving others. I view every interaction as an opportunity to make a positive impression. Whether it is as simple as a smile, a warm greeting, asking how someone is doing, inquiring about whether the is anything [else] I can do for someone before they part, saying thank you, remembering a guest's name or their drink of choice, I know that these elements often get lost in the busy-ness of service. To ensure my service keeps these elements at the forefront, I assume every guest is a VIP. While it is always my goal to ensure the hosts are the stars of their party, I also do everything in my power to also make them look good.
