My husband and I purchased a beautiful upholstered headboard from Bernhardt Interiors, however we were unable to fit it up the steps to place it in our master bedroom because the headboard was too tall. We really loved the headboard and wanted to find someone who would break it down, transport it up stairs to the master bedroom, and reupholster it in the bedroom. I called every upholstery specialist around and couldn't find anyone that would agree to help me. Everyone said that the project was "too risky" and "too complicated". Then I contacted Like New Upholstery and spoke with Robin. He came to my house the next day to look at the headboard and measure the staircase and hallway. He promised me that he would be able to come up with a solution. He came back to the house a few days later to pick up the headboard. He took it to his shop, took the fabric down and cut the headboard in half. Two days later him and his partner, Clay returned to my house and put the headboard back together in my bedroom. They also fully assembled the bed. It looks absolutely gorgeous! You would never know that the headboard was modified! We are so happy and grateful for their service. Robin and Clay are extremely professional & friendly and they do absolutely stunning work. Their rates are reasonable and service is fast. I highly recommend Like New Upholstery! These guys really know what they are doing!

Excellent job on my leather sofa. He was able to arrive at my residence on short notice and fix it within the day. Robin is very friendly and his prices are fair. I definitely recommend him.

When it comes to pricing, I will always try to give you the best, most fair estimate. This is why I always want to look at what you need done first before giving you a price. I love the job I do so to me its more about giving you what you ask for than taking your money.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I believe that being open and honest with customers is the best way to go. I try to get to know my customers so I can view my project in a way that they would want it to be done. I also like having communication with my customers because it's important to me. My top priority is customer satisfaction. A happy customer is always my final goal.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started at my sister business 14 years ago.
