Jocelyn has been great to work with- very upfront with us about concerns and has helped us see progress with our rescue dog.Feb 19, 2019Verified
Jocelyn was wonderful, our Goldie took to her immediately. She had Goldie responding happily, while patient with us, and our 100 questions. I highly recommend Jocelyn to anyone looking for a professional dog trainer that get results. Thank you Jocelyn.Jan 14, 2019Verified
Our training session went really well and Leo responded to the training methods in a short amount of time. I am very happy. We are continuing his trainingJan 11, 2019Verified
Jocelyn is wonderful- very dialed in to behavior- great teacher (to humans) with successful outcomes!Dec 6, 2018Verified
Jocelyn was very professional, responsive, and flexible. Full disclosure, I had to cancel my appointment with her for personal reasons and didn’t get to meet with her but I wanted to write a good review based on her great costumer service. She answered tons of questions on the phone, gave me reading suggestions when I asked, and was understanding and polite when I told her the situation that caused me to cancel. I would recommend her.Nov 29, 2018Verified
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My rates flex depending on the severity of the behavior issue. Typically, I charge $125 per session which lasts 60-90 minutes. I do offer discounts if you prefer to purchase multiple sessions at once.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first time we meet I will come to your home so we can go over the issues you are experiencing with your dog and I may have an opportunity to observe the problem behaviors. We'll talk about management (altering the environment or routine) so you get immediate relief from the problem behavior. We'll also discuss a behavior modification and training plan and settle on a strategy that makes sense for your lifestyle and goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I graduated, with honors, from the SFSPCA's Academy for Dog Trainers in 2009. I also hold Certification in Applied Animal Behavior through UW. I am a Certified Pet Dog Trainer (CPDT-KA). I have spent the majority of my career as a Behavior Consultant working in shelters and rescues. I also have extensive experience one on one and in group settings working directly with clients and their dogs.
