FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As we work off of hourly rates, I am introducing a new method of pricing called FLAT RATE MOVES, which takes place like this. Every job gets estimated based on what is told “if a on cite is needed then a on cite will be performed” there-forth on the day of the moved when the team arrives to the pick up location. An analyzation is done before the move begins, if the quoted estimate is off by any means then A FLAT RATE charge can be applied were the personnel that is in charge that day can evaluate the situation and give the customer a new and flat rate price. This method has worked for me many times and avoids the rush of hourly rates and stress all and all.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I began by giving them the best estimates possible, I use an amazing moving software that allows me to input all the information needed. Then I proceed on booking the job and talking to them about a confirmed moving date. After all is done and the job is booked and on my calendar, I follow my planned agenda until the customer move date comes. Once the day comes I show up with a 3 man team, me being the foremen 80% of the time. I proceed to analyze the move and to do what we do best.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
The training of owning my own company and actually being able to be hands on every move and booking them as well.
