Let me start by saying I was in a totally urgent situation and I feel like Lisa saved my life. I needed a bridesmaid's dress altered for my best friend's wedding and she turned the dress around in 48 hours!!! Not only does she have over a decadeof experience with tailoring.. but her prices are reasonable. In addition, she's a total sweetheart. I would recommend Lisa to anyone. I drove an hour out from where I was to her house but it was so worth it. Definitely hire her, I certainly will if I EVER need anything like this done again.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
my mother and grandmother were both seamstress. it was just something that was in our house. I have been sewing and crafting for over 35 yrs.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
please give as much info as possible. pictures help. also make sure you have a realistic budget and realize that some projects aren't cost efficient.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
some alterations aren't realistic. the fabric may not be able to handle taking apart and resewing. some projects may not have enough extra fabric to expand.
