FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is important for me to speak with the organizer about their event, so I can position my message for their unique theme and audience. My presentations are flexible in tone, language, primary message and timing. By reviewing an organization’s mission, setting and viewership, I can cater my presentation for optimal engagement and useful takeaways for each audience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My talk revolves around my personal story and life experiences as a student, business executive, husband, father and friend. I am an executive recruiter by trade (over 28 years) helping companies find the right talent and individuals find the right job. In my spare time I volunteer at the local children’s hospital to mentor patients and encourage them through their difficult times.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been encouraged by so many people to share my personal story, particularly to school-age children and parents of children with disabilities. Throughout my childhood I was encouraged by my family and friends, which gave me the confidence to take chances, and through that support, I have been able to live a life of fulfillment. I feel called to promote the power of encouragement and acceptance, so others can reflect and live out those characteristics.
