- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Per job pricing. Though I do follow strict guide lines when giving an estimate. My installs usually fall in between 50 cents and 60 cents per square foot.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I will meet customers at their homes to provide a free estimate. which includes me measuring floors throughout the home, so I can accurately provide the customer the correct square footage of material to purchase. As well as give my price for the labor. As for a professional carpet/floor cleaning, I charge per room, or 25 cents per square foot.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In 2004 I started a 2 year flooring apprenticeship and successfully completed it in 2006. Since then I have had countless hours of on the job training. Also, I have successfully completed a residential certification through CFI.
