- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Each house and apartment is different and depends on what the customer wants and the detail of the cleaning. Other factors come into play like the size of the home, if there are pets such as cats and dogs that add fur, and special requests such as oven cleanings laundry washed and folded and things of that nature, so it really does depend on what each customer wants.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually speak with this person a couple times to get an idea of their home and what exactly they want cleaned if anything in particular. After that I set a time to usually come by and inspect the home. This benefits both myself and my customers so that I can get a better idea of the extent of the cleaning and give an exact price for the cleaning. This gives me and my potential customers time to talk and and figure out exactly what will be done and the price. Once this is done I usually set a time and date for the cleaning. After the first cleaning is done myself and the customer can discuss if they would like a regular cleaning each week, every two weeks, or every month if they desire. A price will be set and a relative schedule for the cleaning. At any time if my customers want more or less done in respect to their cleaning all they have to do is ask.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been a very clean and organized person my entire life so cleaning comes very easy to me and I enjoy doing it so I started doing it for a living and 16years later I am still doing it 😆
