FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Getting to know the client first! Knowing the client's taste in makeup, skin routine, if the client is allergic to any ingredients, likes and dislikes as well as the look they're going for. Most importantly making them feel comfortable, feeling free to ask questions and leaving them happy!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I didn't attend school/training for makeup, I'm self-taught but I do learn new things every day.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I discovered makeup after high school when I recieved my first tube of MAC foundation for a birthday present. After giving it a try a few times I started to take things serious and as filling in my brows, applying eyeshadow, eye liner, and lip stick. Months went by then years and I progressed in ways I didn't expect to! After progressing in doing my own makeup and being noticed for it I was able to work on others which was a hard process in the beginning. I learned to take my own time, come up with a technique (study face and features) that works for me and my skill and since then that helps me succeed in my work.
