FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As a student myself, I understand that regular tutoring sessions get expensive. That's why I offer $30 / hour base price lessons, with a negotiable discount for students / people working at charitable organizations.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Each student is different in their strengths, exposure, and goals for the language. The first session is all about getting a feel for each other and a picture of where you're at in your French studies. I'll provide some good resources for any level, and we can determine with what intensity you'd like to move forward.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Having grown up in 2 French-speaking households, taking private language classes for 8 years, and visiting my entire extended family in France each summer my entire childhood, I'm well-rooted in French language & culture. Today, I'm part-time teaching 4th and 5th graders at a local French school while I save up for a Bachelor's in secondary education to expand my reach as a French teacher at other schools.
