I build custom PC workstations to specific requirements or configure COTS products as necessary for your requirements. All my work is based on you, not my best interests. I enjoy helping people meet their needs instead of the industries needs. Teaching people to be self-sufficient with their computers and integrated systems. I have known Scott Crenshaw as a close, personal friend and business associate for approximately 15 years. During this time he has been hired by my family (for our in-home networking needs) and my wife's income tax office for a variety of I.T. needs, including but not limited to: telephone system relocation, set-up, etc.; internet and local network configurations, including wi-fi, television, etc.; installing and troubleshooting (PC Windows 7, 10); printer installation, driver down-loads, troubleshooting, etc. We found Scott to be thoroughly trustworthy, knowledgeable, hard-working and - best of of all for us - very affordable! Scott did a good job replacing my computer touch screen and components. It did take longer than I expected but only because there was a delay in receiving the parts from Texas. I would use him again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have standard prices for a number of my services. $60.00 to build computer desktop hardware from scratch. $60.00 to install (or clean install) of Windows Desktop Operating Systems (Windows 7 or 10). $100.00 to replace a broken laptop LCD panel. Parts are extra for each of these. I charge $50.00 / Hr for all other repairs. Minimum of 1/2 hour troubleshooting.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I was trained to troubleshoot and repair electronics and computing devices while in the US Navy (1989 - 1993) and have more than 20 years of experience doing so. I have worked with first responders, the US Coast Guard, and several news gathering agencies (i.e. CNN, ABC, NBC). I have continuously trained to stay on top of the electronics and computing world and am currently taking classes to achieve A+, Network+ and MSCE certifications.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was trained by the US Navy, but I also took programming classes in High School
