Certified Public Accountants are very unique, because we have knowledge beyond accounting and taxes. In addition, I had a prior career in Management Consulting and Sales, and thus, my services cater to the objectives of every entrepreneur and leader: increase sales, make profits, improve cashflows, build equity, and have access to capital. I am not a bean counter, but rather a profit/cash/equity planner and builder with our clients! I love to be sort of a financial minister, by really taking an interest into the dreams, the plans and how personal, business success can be. Seeing my clients win, beat the IRS in unjust audit cases and obtain the financial means for an independent life are very professionally fulfilling to me. My clients are people I like, they are trustworthy, educated, smart and very entrepreneural. How can I not love what I do?

My small business has grown to the point where I'm ready to pay myself a W2 and I needed the paperwork and accounts set up to report and pay the required taxes to the Fed and Fl. I interviewed all 5 bids from Thumbtack. I'm not a small service provider of Marriage Counseling in Miami with less than 20 transactions a month. David took a real interest in my business and my goals as the owner. He had suggestions right away that would save me money and help me use my business to serve me instead of me feeling like I had to serve the business. I felt overwhelmed at at the tax submittal paperwork and he made it sound simple. I met his staff and he explained how he would service me and help me grow. He gave me a fee for the job, not an hourly rate. He was more expensive than the cheapest bid, but the value I got was outstanding. I felt so relieved after I committed to investing in his plan to set my business up. My quarterly maintenance plan was less than if I wanted to pay for Quickbooks online and do the work myself! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We have a combination of flat, hourly and value pricing for our clients. In services such as bookkeeping/accounting we have an hourly rate or estimated flat fee. Taxes have a flat rate and consulting is hourly. IRS cases and other services are value based, which varies according to the responsibility we undertake.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always like to interview my clients in the first couple of minutes to see if we share values, if they understand what they need and if I can find a meaningful solution
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a prior career in Chemical Science, thus I am very good at analyzing numbers, situations and finding solutions. I have an AA, BA and Masters in Accounting, in addition I obtained the CPA license, which very few accounting professionals achieve.
