So I was going to hire Jose’ to build a soffit for me for a new home theater. We went back-and-forth several times on specs. Even put him in touch with my home theater guy so they could work out the details together. When I change the specs of the soffit from sheet rock to Wood he told me he couldn’t do it out of wood. But needed to get me a quote from a friend of his that would take 3 to 4 weeks. Total BS and waste of my time.

Hey Evan, I sorry you feel that way.
I dedicated my time to visit you for a quote. This involve me speaking with your vendor directly exchanging emails back-and-forth.
The scope you provide was very vague I did by best to fill in the blanks. When I presented the estimate, you then ask for an alternate due to the cost/materials used in the estimate. All this at no cost to you.
What you wanted was something custom this usually takes time. With anything custom there is a lead time on it. I was clear in my communication. I think it’s unfortunate just because you did not like the lead time this became a negative review.
