Introduction: Euphema Films is comprised of the dynamic husband and wife team of Brandon and Melanie Muxo. On top of their dedication to recording cherished moments in other families' lives, they are also devoted parents to two boys. Their eldest, Jude, is an 8-year-old boy diagnosed with autism, and their youngest, Adam, is only 7 months old. Euphema is a Greek word that loosely translates to "good report" or "admirable", which summarizes what Brandon and Mel strive to accomplish for each and every one of their clients. Brandon and Mel work together to capture all the most significant inspiring moments of the events they book and weave them into a cinematic story that shares all the admirable and good things that every family wish to cherish for years to come. Despite their easygoing and affable personalities, the Muxos pay meticulous attention to detail without losing focus of the story the client wants to be told. They are passionate about creating memorabilia that is visually stunning, meaningful, and inspiring.I Brandon and Mel enjoy being a part of capturing memories that their clients can share and reflect on happily for years to come. The most poignant part of recording these happy moments in people's lives is the awareness that these films can be a source of strength and hope when families encounter the inevitable hardships and struggles we, as human beings, all face. It's fulfilling to be part of creating a timeless product that can be a reminder in the challenging times of what we're all fighting the good fight of faith for - LOVE. There is also the thrill of creating new strategic positions for their equipment as they are introduced to new venues with different layouts and lighting scenarios. In each situation, they endeavor to effectively and unobtrusively capture the most intimate moments of family occasions.

Brandon and Melanie were a pleasure to work with from beginning to end. They are fairly new to the industry and that's what I appreciated the most because the heart they have for making things perfect and beautiful is shown in their efforts. Melanie created a wedding questionnaire to learn every detail before, had a Skype call to get to know us better, and even with the hiccups (on our part) they were smooth and continued filming. I can't wait to see the final product. Being their first wedding made me feel so special and even more gracious. I can't wait to see what they film next. Major bonus as well: they have an amazing photographer that was taking pictures of everything to include in our reel and from what I seen I'm very impressed.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

After new clients inform us that they would like to book us for their wedding or event, we send a questionnaire and schedule a Skype session to help us prepare in advance. The more we find out about your wants and needs prior to the day of filming, the more quality content we can capture and produce. Communication is key!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Definitely make sure you feel comfortable and at ease with the videographers and photographers you'll be hiring. If you're uncomfortable, it will show in the footage and that's not something you want to overshadow whatever occasion you need filmed. It's also important that you feel that you are being listened to. We as videographers should strive to make you feel heard, valued and informed. If there are limitations of our capabilities, we should let you know and you should never feel afraid about asking what we can and can't do. We understand that you will often be busy on the day of the event, so we need to make sure we are well-prepared so we don't stress you out or get in the way of all the action going on at the event. Ultimately, make sure whoever you hire cares about you and the story you want told.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

Ask about what lighting and audio equipment they will be bringing along with the obligatory filming equipment. Depending on your budget and how high quality you want your final edit to be, these extra pieces of equipment make a HUGE difference.
