FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After new clients inform us that they would like to book us for their wedding or event, we send a questionnaire and schedule a Skype session to help us prepare in advance. The more we find out about your wants and needs prior to the day of filming, the more quality content we can capture and produce. Communication is key!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Definitely make sure you feel comfortable and at ease with the videographers and photographers you'll be hiring. If you're uncomfortable, it will show in the footage and that's not something you want to overshadow whatever occasion you need filmed. It's also important that you feel that you are being listened to. We as videographers should strive to make you feel heard, valued and informed. If there are limitations of our capabilities, we should let you know and you should never feel afraid about asking what we can and can't do. We understand that you will often be busy on the day of the event, so we need to make sure we are well-prepared so we don't stress you out or get in the way of all the action going on at the event. Ultimately, make sure whoever you hire cares about you and the story you want told.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Ask about what lighting and audio equipment they will be bringing along with the obligatory filming equipment. Depending on your budget and how high quality you want your final edit to be, these extra pieces of equipment make a HUGE difference.
