FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There is no such thing as a cookie cutter remodeling project. Therefore, we price each job based on the unique components of the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process begins with setting an appointment with the client to discuss the details of the project. During the meeting we go over all the aspects pertaining to design, finishes, project timeline, plans, permits, logistics, and any other concern relating to the project. Then we use the information gathered to produce an estimate for the project. A second meeting is scheduled where we review the estimate together. This allows our potential client the chance to ask questions, and an opportunity to explain in detail what our estimate includes. We want our clients to be as well informed as possible when making such a big decision. Then we schedule the project to coordinate with the client needs and our current jobs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
My exposure to carpentry began at a very young age. When I was a small boy I would spend countless hours with my father in his cabinet shop. I'm sure I was more of a hindrance than a help. When I was a teen my parents decided to build themselves a home in the mountains. My brothers and I spent the next four summers working side by side with our father building the two story home from the ground up. It was quite an experience for me, one I'll never forget. In my early 20's I began working for a local contractor as a carpenters helper and by my early 30's I was the lead carpenter then superintendent for the company. My experience is hard earned, working my way through all the phases of a tradesman. My experience ranges from small repairs to the construction of 10000 square foot homes.
