FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a minimum of $65 for any residential job but I try my best to do as much as I can to ensure you feel like it’s worth every dollar. Each window includes screen cleaning, scrubbing each window with a non abrasive pad, and wiping the frame to take away any drips that may show up after the cleaning of the window. I do provide a maintenance clean discount, meaning that if you would like 2 schedule cleanings two times a year, I will take $15 off of both cleanings. Track cleaning is difficult to price on the phone and prefer to do a onsite bid for them. The average is around $4 per track. Price will depend on how extensive the cleaning is and how dirty the tracks are. It also depends on the kind of track, some pop out and make it easy to clean, where as some it is difficult and time consuming to get as clean as they should be.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With this app, it is hard to give the most correct pricing. I do my best to quote from the detailed message prospective customers give, but without seeing the actual windows, pricing may vary. If i see anything on the job that may cost extra or even bring down the cost, I immediately let my customers know to inform them why it will cost more or less and give them the option to choose if they want it done. As far as scheduling goes, I do my best to work with people to get it done when it is best for them. I am a full-time firefighter, which requires me to work 48 hours a week and fall on various days of the week, so there are days that i will not be able to come. If there is a specific day that it must be done on and I am working at the fire station, i can also recommend fellow professionals to take care of their needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been cleaning windows professionally for around 8 years now, and have extensive knowledge on all sorts of windows, like tempered glass, standard picture windows, to even bullet and bomb-proof glass. I have cleaned the windows on small residential homes to the biggest high-rise buildings of Salt Lake City. I have extensive knowledge of ladders and safety of ladders, so customers do not have to worry about accidents.
