- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Carrot Bomb Catering has done catering for 2 to 350 people... With extremely varied menus. We are able to work within your budget!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First, we meet to discuss the menu.... Every menu is different, and made strictly for you! Within 2 days, you will recieve a menu proposal with pricing per person. All costs are clearly outlined so you know exactly where your money is going. Once menu selections have been made and the budget met, we plan a tasting (if requested). We sign a contract, and it is on! The final guest count is not needed until one week before your event. At that time, I require 1/2 of the final cost to start procuring ingredients. The final 1/2 is due the day of your event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started my career at a young 15 years of age at a high end bed-and-breakfast in New Hampshire, while finishing high school. From there I moved around the country and around the world learning different cuisine, technique and style of cooking. My internship was in Bern, Switzerland, where I participated in the world culinary Olympics and was saucier at a four star hotel in the Swiss Alps. Now a mother, wife and organic gardener with bees and chickens in Milwaukee, I am highly inspired by the quality of ingredients and the beauty of good taste!
