FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is dependent on many factors, so please inquire with your details for a more accurate quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After establishing what kind of photography you are looking for, we go over the details, such as the number of people, time to begin and end, location, and outfit choice. I'm very flexible with expectations and I want to exceed yours, so we discuss any of those up front. After the day of the shoot, you can expect to have your portraits within two weeks.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started exhibiting my work at the county fair when I was 9 years old. In high school, I worked on the Yearbook, designing pages and doing photography. I learned a lot from my mother, a self-taught photographer. I would work with her on wedding shoots and family portrait sessions. In college, I studied photography which taught me the most about my craft, both digitally and in film. I presently work as a portrait photographer in the Twin Cities. Most of my work is done in the studio. Working with photography every day has really allowed me to learn and grow. The portraits I take are vibrant and full of life. My style is fresh with a nod toward traditional and I strive to give everyone what they want while including some poses they wouldn't expect but come to love.
