I am an experienced animal care attendant and dog trainer who is confident in my ability to effectively soothe and manage difficult animals. I am a compassionate positive-reinforcement-based trainer with knowledge of animal behavior and a desire to continue learning everything I can about animal psychology. I am dedicated to working with animals and their owners to resolve behavior issues effectively and humanely. I utilize positive reinforcement with dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments to create good behaviors and extinguish undesirable behaviors. I have experience with aggressive, reactive, shy, and fearful dogs as well as teaching basic obedience behaviors. I have basic knowledge of several training tools, as well as when and how to utilize them properly. I participate in several dog sports with my own dogs, and I am also an independent service dog trainer of Tejas Dogs, Inc. I specialize in assisting in helping service dog handlers owner-train their own service dogs. I offer private lessons, private online lessons, service dog training, reactivity and aggression rehabilitation, basic obedience and some dog sport training.
