FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to find out first if the client has any spaces they have been inspired by or are leaning in a particular design direction. For a residential space i like to see it in person and get a feel for what makes sense in the location and work with the flow of the architecture. For retail and commercial locations i take into account the business clientele, demographic and business needs to put together a concept that is in line with what the client represents.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
10 years working as a staging design for model homes, photo shoot set staging and styling. 4 years freelance interior designer for commercial spaces, restaurants and office spaces.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
A customer should consider the style they gravitate towards. Modern? Classic? Retro? There are so many exciting things we can do in a space and we are here to direct the clients needs, but it's always relevant to consider if there is a particular style you are fond of because that makes it all the more appealing for you to feel proud of your space. When you bring someone into your home or business it gives a reflection of you.
