In Oct, 2004, our home suffered major fire damage from an electrical short. Our insurance company contacted a local major disaster contracter who uses John Beckman Co as their general contractor.
John contacted us the same day, coordinated removal of debris, and referred an architect who assessed what needed to be done, worked with city inspectors to expedite replacement and kept us updated at all times.
Since then, we have used Beckman Construction for several other projects at our home. We have referred them to several others including our children.
We believe Beckman Construction has earned our 5 Star ratng.

We had the BEST experience with John Beckman! We are doing an extensive main floor remodel. We brought John in last minute to do several projects we had originally planned for another contractor to do that didn’t work out. John gave a very fairly priced quote (and stuck to it!! No hidden charges!), got started immediately, was at our house everyday until the job was finished and worked around all of the other projects we had going on. He is incredibly knowledgeable about all things construction and clearly cares about his clients. Though we hired him for specific projects he was interested in our whole remodel, gave great tips about our remodel overall, and made sure his projects fit well into our overall vision. The finished products are of great quality and just as we imagined. He built us a knee wall with supports for a custom breakfast bar, closed up a doorway with a new wall, and replaced the door to the garage. We will 100% use John again in the future.

UPDATE 10/2/2020
I would recommend steering clear of John Beckman Construction. After using John for multiple projects I engaged his company for a major remodel of our personal home. John spent many hours discussing and reviewing the project only to abandon us mid-project after falling well behind his starting schedule. There was zero unsolicited communication from him regarding the delays. The delay cost us many thousands of dollars, prevented our family from being in our home by Christmas time and starting and starting the spring school semester in our home school district.

John Beckman Construction LLC has done work at multiple properties for me. John's work is exceptional. He excels in attention to details and calling out issues before they become problems. I have used John for structural framing, cabinetry, trim work, and misc. punch list. Highly recommended! Before and After Pics below.
