FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I keep session fees separate from product packages, so that you can always see your photos first before making decisions about final portraits. If you commission professional portraits, you deserve professional products, so I encourage my clients to choose physical prints, albums, and wall art. I do have digital files available for purchase on a sliding scale.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to have real conversations with clients, either on the phone or in person. I will invite you to my studio to see the props and backgrounds, and explore the sample albums, wall art, and tabletop portraits I offer. If you think we are a good fit, I'll have you book a session! On the big day, you'll come to my studio where I will have everything prepared. No need to bring anything but you and your baby. Sit back and relax while I work! Then a few weeks later, I'll invite you back for a reveal session and help you make decisions about your final portraits.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Multiple online courses and an in-person workshop with Kelly Brown, one of the best-known newborn photographers in the world.
