- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
*All of our websites include a CMS, online and phone training, and free technical support for as long as those websites are hosted on our servers. We have flat rates and different tiers for web work, print design, and video editing / shooting. We can provide a price-list upon request.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We have a 5 step-process for working with clients: 1. Contact client and learn about the project. 2. Determine a scope for the project from input from the client. 3. Send scope & contract to client; follow up to make sure we are on the right track. If we are and the client is satisfied (for websites only: we require a 45% deposit up front; 30% after the design stage; then the remaining balance is due in full after a project has been approved). For all other non-website work, we require 50% up front and the other 50% once the job is complete. 4. Send proofs for the client to sign off on. 5. Send final project to the client.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in graphic design and an MFA in digital media; I am work in the field that I have degrees in. I also have over 17 years in web development experience, 18 years in print design experience, and 10 years in professional video production experience.
