FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I most often offer more affordable rates, because of my low overhead.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After initially determining that the tree service need is one which I might like to address, I arrange a time to meet with the homeowner to directly assess the situation. Then, or shortly thereafter, I give the customer a price quote for the job.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have operated chainsaws since my teen years, when I was tasked with thinning some large wooded real estate tracts owned by my father. This was a good way for me to cut my teeth (pun intended), as the wooded hilly terrain, often riddled with large rocks, mud and puddles, made for a challenging work space and included a variety of tree types. A bachelor's in engineering comes in handy, too, when devising tree removal/pruning tactics.
