FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Ali Smith Photography offers a custom portraiture experience, which also means that the total investment can vary greatly depending on type of work, end product, and time involved. For this reason, I prefer to speak personally with each potential client to get a better idea of what they are looking for and offer them a custom quote.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The process starts with a pre-consultation, via email or in person. We discuss the client's needs and what I offer and determine if we will be a good fit. If we decide to move forward, I send an invoice and electronic paperwork. Payment of the invoice secures the desired session date and time. From there we begin planning your session!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
In working as the Photography Director for Venture Meridian Magazine, I am lucky enough to photograph many local business and business owners. Some of my favorites to date have been photographing the beautiful Paperie & Pen in Meridian, the owner of Prefunk Meridian, and getting to spend a day on the lake photographing the team at Brigade Wakesurfing while they worked their magic on the water.
