FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have such a passion documenting people's stories. Whether it's a wedding, elopement, engagement, or something else entirely, I have a heart for capturing raw emotion and authentic moments. I got started in photography purely out of habit. I loved taking photos and after being hired to shoot a friend's wedding, I fell in love with photography. Having the opportunity to create lasting memories for people is something I will never take for granted. I also want to stress how important it is for me for the photos I take of you and your loved ones to tell a story. Unlike many other creatives, I stay clear of traditional photographs and do my best to uniquely capture every aspect. This doesn't mean that I skip out on family photos at weddings or anything like that. I still take all of the normal photos that clients want, however I go one step beyond. I want you to look back on your photos someday and remember how the day felt, not just how it looked.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with many different clients in the past, and I look forward to working with many new clients as well. While I am primarily a wedding, lifestyle and engagement photographer, I have been hired to document several different events and functions as well. I am always open to capturing your day, so please do not hesitate to reach out to me and I would love to chat about what that might look like.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Hire someone who has experience. There are plenty of photographers out there that might be willing to work within a much lower budget, however you get what you pay for. This is not to say that there are not several talented photographers out there that charge less, but most of the time the price of someone's business directly reflects the level of work they put into their final product. I want to proud and I want my clients to be proud of the photos I deliver, which is why I take the time to edit every photo I take and make sure that it meets my standards and your expectations.
