Introduction: I help people solve their "impossible" problems by introducing ways to work with their deeply imbedded patterns of thinking and acting that are below the surface. Through this awareness clients come to understand how their unconscious affects every decision they make. In other words, I help people understand why they do what they do. To do this I utilize three models of self-discovery: Enneagram, Adult Attachment, and Internal Family Systems. Once someone understands how these three powerful unconscious dynamics influence their life they can act with greater awareness, change unhealthy patterns, and find greater happiness in their relationships and work. The moment when a client discovers something new about themselves is incredible to witness. These A Ha! moments of greater self-awareness are how true, lasting change occurs. It is also humbling to witness as clients heal from past wounds and redeem their painful experiences by rewriting the endings with a new more hopeful story. These are what I enjoy most about my work.

Before my sessions with Reb, I felt lost and ungrounded. He provided me with the exact guidance and tools I needed to turn things around for me and my daughter. I have learned a great deal about myself and will be eternally grateful for all of it (even the things I didn't want to hear)! :) Thanks Reb, for everything!

Reb Buxton (aka REB) saved my life. He enabled me to find hope and happiness after experiencing debilitating trauma. He is wise, compassionate, patient and truly gifted as a therapist. During the time I spent in intensive therapy with him, I found him to be very responsive and easy to talk to. I strongly recommend REB for anyone considering therapy, and for anyone who thinks they don't know if they really need it or not. I was initially in the latter category, but I am now forever grateful that I called his office, made the appointment and showed up. One of the greatest gifts you can give yourself is the gift of stepping outside of your stressful life and into REB's office for an hour or so where you are free to express yourself in a nonjudgmental space. REB is an excellent listener.
