The best thing is that Leah did everything I would have done. She knew where everything was in my kitchen and how to use it. She arranged the table, offered guests a beverage (and made great Old Fashions), sliced and served the cake, cleaned, dried, and put away all the dishes. When she left, it was as though a party had never happened. I completely trust her. Signed by a card-carrying home economist.

Cake by the Pound helped us turn check in time into a party with an outstanding tray of treats. Cayenne brownie bites were a favorite as well as chocolate chip cookie bars.

I am drooling thinking about their rice krispy treats with amazing cocoa and sea salt! Everything I've had with them- hand pies, cookies, and more- has been exceptional. They also exceed expectations on care, courtesy, and professionalism.

Cake by the Pound has both excellent products and service. The chefs make delicious and beautiful desserts AND can make a fantastic full menu as well. We hired them for a special catering event for 75 guests and every course was outstanding - creative and tasty - we (and they) got rave reviews! Will absolutely use them again and again (in fact we are in a few weeks)!

Cake by the Pound was a vendor for our Sankofa Fresh Stop Market in the Lower Ninth Ward during our first few months of beginning the market. They made incredible baked goods and we were so happy to partner with them!
