K-9 Citizen Club Review:   While I’ve used several dog trainers, I’d strongly suggest considering K-9 Citizen Club as the Company to train your dog. Mr. Marcus Taylor’s unique training technique is not only effective but a fun and learning experience. He’s educated and skilled at training any breed, any age, as well as any size dog.  Mr. Taylor is excellent at resolving common dog training and behavior problems, including: house soiling, destructive chewing, excessive barking, digging, home-alone problems and separation anxiety. Leash reactivity to other dogs, hyperactivity, jumping, leash pulling along with the lack of attention and compliance.  The technique used to train my dog was very gentle; he trains with compassion for the dog as well as the owner. He's always on time and has a system which reminds the customer of the appointment. His professionalism exceeds the standards of a dog trainer. He’s worked with me on behavioral challenges which can be quite annoying to the unskilled pet owner. Mr. Taylor has been successful in redirecting my (Ruby) a very stubborn Rottweiler. Marcus is amazing! When I first saw him, I thought he was too young to be an effective dog trainer. When he began to work with Addie I could not believe how he was able to break down what has been the most unapproachable dog I have ever owned. Marcus immediately showed my wife and I how to take control of our dog with complete patience and positive action. I purchased a choke collar because I thought this would be the only way to gain control of my dog. Addie is not at all mean but would not be collared, bathed or anything involving grabbing and restraining her. Marcus, to our amazement was able to get a collar and leash on our dog the first day he worked with her. It has been 7 years and we were unable to collar and leash our dog for any purpose. Once collared and leashed, Marcus showed us how to positively walk Addie, brush her, wipe her with wet wipes and she (Addie) loved it. Marcus, never, at any time had to be aggressive with Addie to the point where she became fearful. Through the most effective use of praise, body language, an occasional treat and never backing my dog into a corner; this guy was able to get our dog to settle down and once collared and leashed become a normal dog. My wife and I have had several dogs (all normal). We got Addie, from the dog pound, when she was about 1 year old. She has never been normal in that she was always afraid of being controlled like leashing or bathing etc.. Lastly, I would like to add that Marcus stayed in touch when he was not here working with the dog, is always on time, professional in appearance and attitude and just a great guy. After seeing what he has done for us and our unique dog, I know he can work wonders for a normal dog. I know we are told to shop around and compare....but my advice is to call Marcus, have him meet your dog...and once you see how this man handles your dog (both his mannerism with the dog and the results produced)...you will be convinced..."This guy knows his stuff!"

K9 Citizens club is an extremely wonderful organization for teaching and training, both the dog, as well as the owner. I developed a great sense of security and safety working with this program. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants a well-behaved canine.

Marcus is who you want to send your fur babies to! He has so much experience and knowledge with training dogs, it is remarkable. I was blown away from the very first meeting. His patience is like none I’ve ever seen before. The results are immediate and he makes it possible for you to understand and continue the training at home. He sets you up to succeed and he truly wants you to have the results you wish for. Training your dogs is an investment and I’m willing to pay whatever it costs to have a stress free life that I can enjoy with my pups. Thank you Marcus for all of the knowledge you have passed on!!!!

I mainly sell programs that include multiple sessions with the intent of obtaining lasting results in the dog and customer education.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I usually do a Meet and Greet to evaluate the dog and determine your goals for training.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've earned certificates through the government and private dog training schools as Evaluator and Instructor. Also certified and competed in the USPCA for bomb detection, patrol, tracking, obedience, agility and article search.
