FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try very hard to meet the needs of those asking for my help. It becomes difficult with managed care, but I work around it. In general I am what is called " an out of network provider". But I try to take into consideration some sort of combination of need, income and ability to pay, and getting the compensation my skill sets, dedication and experience deserves.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
In my private practice, I generally agree to a consultation. This is usually not covered by managed care insurance. The consultation if we are lucky, lasts for an hour. What you get for the consultation is a frank discussion of what you think you require and what I think you require. If we go to contract, we discuss the short-term and long-term treatment plan goals, cost, and frequency. The consultation is not binding for either of us. Going forward, I commit to you and to your case no matter what.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I'm not sure how to answer that question in this little box. I've been a practitioner for over 30 years... In a variety of treatment settings, with a variety of populations, with individuals presenting a wide variety of problems in living. My educational background is excellent (please refer to my profile ) and perhaps you will get a glimpse of my work experience as well
