I have spent time on both sides of the story, selling and telling it as a corporate communicator/marketer and as a journalist. I have expertise on both print and digital platforms. I have worked in a variety of sectors and for an array of institutions, both domestic and international, led by a range of personalities. All of this makes me a versatile writer, editor, reporter, content connoisseur, and communications strategist which includes being able to do the following: - conceptualize and overhaul copy for Web sites, both e-commerce and marketing-only - report and write news features and profiles, fact-checking, proofreading, and captions included - tutor others in conversational and reading and writing skills, including college essays - write or ghostwrite targeted blog posts - develop social media campaigns - write and edit annual reports, appeals, and grant proposals - train others for media interviews - write speeches - develop messaging for a product, brand or cause - develop video concepts and scripts - write marketing and PR materials, including collateral, direct marketing e-mails, press materials and webinars - tell stories It satisfies my curiosity, dares me to be creative, and demands rigor.
