Introduction: Firstly, I absolutely love what I do! It's my vocation. I've been teaching and tutoring over 10 years in educational institutions both in the U.S. and South America, specifically in Lima, Peru at the early-childhood, elementary and secondary school level as well as the university level. These past 3 years, I've worked at an International Private School in East Midtown. I'm a native bilingual (English-Spanish) with an intermediate-high level of French.
Over the years, I've worked with various student populations. This as a result has taught me to consider their different and unique academic needs & personalities. Also, I take a personal interest in ensuring that my students are learning the concepts they need to work on for life and not just for a season. I make sure they learn in a fun, creative and engaging manner.
Regardless of ability or learning level, I always seek to challenge my students to give it their all and to become the best they can be for themselves and for the betterment of this world. There's no giving up with me. As their teacher, I love to learn who my students are as people, what they enjoy and how they work. This way, I can tailor the work I give to fit the interests and experiences of my students. This is what I mean by a memorable teaching experience! I know that is what I always sought at school and seldomly got it. This is my chance to make a difference.
For these reasons, my service stands out. Try me out and see. I'd be more than happy to work with you. Looking forward! :-)
This may sound clichéd and cheesy, but I truly enjoy working with people of ALL ages. I take great delight in walking with them as they learn, have fun, blossom and grow in confidence and get ahead in life. It's truly rewarding to help someone or a group of students learn and/or hone a needed skill or set of skills at a crucial time in their lives. This undoubtedly keeps my job, one of my life's purposes super exciting!
