Alexander is a spectacular chef and a pleasure to be around. He was able to cook remarkably creative and delicious meals for my entire family & friends even with all the restrictions I had at the time ( Acid reflux diet and gluten and dairy free). In fact, they didn't even know they were eating a healing diet! Alexander has an easy going affable demeanor and is passionate about his work. It was a joy to work with him.

Alex is not only a terrific private chef, he is wonderful and easy-going person that is a delight to have around. He plans menus, shops, cooks, cleans, serves and all with a smile and positive attitude. Alex handled a multi-course dinner party for 16 for us and also cooked a number of additional dishes for us to have over the coming days while family were visiting. He made what would have been a ton of work into a breeze. So grateful to have found him. Truthfully, It's hard for me to write this review because I know it will mean that Alex will be booked more and wont be available for us at a moments notice. But Alex deserves it. He's great.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    I like for the guest to get a feel for my type of cooking. I like to get a feel for the customers taste in food. Then I like to create a custom menu for the customer. If the guest likes the menu, I am ready to start. I do all the shopping, cooking and clean up.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have worked in the food industry for over ten years. I have worked in the fine dining industry for most of my career, working for some of the top chefs in the country/world from Gary Danko to Micheal Mina. I have also worked for events such as the Food and Wine Pebble Beach to working at the Relais Chateux Grand Tasting in New York City.
