- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to assess the body with a few pre-Pilates exercises that show me your weaknesses and tight spots. From there I guide you through a workout proper for your body based on your needs. We repeat similar exercises each week, but will add new things to keep the body challenged in new ways.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BFA in Dance from George Mason University, and a Comprehensive Pilates Certification from Balanced Body.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up dancing and discovered Pilates while cross training for dance. It helped my body balance out while dancing to avoid injuries and pain. I immediately knew I wanted to start teaching and have loved it since!
