- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It is crucial to us that therapy is accessible, so we offer a sliding scale that can be determined once we learn more about your insurance coverage. We are happy to look up your benefits on your behalf before you make a decision to meet. If for whatever reason we are not the right fit for you, we will provide you with alternative recommended providers that would better meet your needs and preferences.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The initial meeting is an opportunity to get to know each other and discuss your needs and concerns. We believe that people have the capacity for change and are equipped with the inner resources to do so. We work collaboratively with our clients from the start to set goals, identify barriers to growth, increase coping skills, and build on their existing strengths. Our aim is to assist our clients to access their own inner wisdom and resilience.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our therapists have several thousand hours of combined training and clinical experience in evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Techniques, Mindfulness Therapy, Psychoanalysis and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. This breadth of training extends and deepens our expertise.
