- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I only charge what I believe is fair to both parties. I don't charge any extra fees unless necessary. Travel fees are added when over a specific distance. Cancellation fees are always in effect. I require a meal for myself and my employees for jobs 5+ hours. Overnight stays will be covered by client. Travel requiring flight is covered by client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first get an overall email or message with what they are looking for. The next step is a detailed phone conversation about what I can offer, how I execute, and what they would like from me. In some cases, if possible, we will meet to discuss further details, and to get to know each other better.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am mostly self taught, but have also learned a ton from professionals who have been in the field for decades. Working alongside people who have been shooting weddings for more than 20 years, or learning from a National Geographic photographer who has been with them for 30+ yeara, taught me things I would never learn in a classroom.
