Jessica worked our housewarming party of about 130 people. She arrived early, helped set up, served food and beverages and bused and cleaned. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?My prices are competitive and based my experience. Prices will vary, depending on, length of event*, guest count, type of event*, location*, time of year*, and the amount of service professionals working your event. Event Minimum is 3 hours. Events that are 3 hours start at $60 per hour. Events that are 4 hours, start at $40 per hour. Events 5 or more hours start at $35 per hour. Events located outside of the 5 boroughs may have a travel fee, at the hourly rate. One hour minimum Naturally, events on major holidays, are at a holiday rate. Thanksgiving, Christmas, Christmas Eve, 4th of July (Premium Holidays) Christmas Eve, Easter, Mother’s Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day (2nd Tier Holidays) Deposits are on a case by case basis. Events that require additional staff members are more likely to require a deposit. I do not make a profit off, of my staff. I pay them, exactly what, I charge you. I know there are alot of agencies on Thumbtack. They might charge less, than the freelance service professionals, that work using Thumbtack. But, the Freelance professional is working for themselves. Please message me, if you have any questions about my pricing. I feel my pricing is within range for the industry . Larger parties may require additional service professionals. Obviously , that will incur additional fees. I do not force, my clients to hire additional staff, but it is strongly recommend.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to have a conversation, about their ideas and expectations for their party. Also, if they have certain requests for uniforms. My staff and I have, a full tuxedo, black and white button down shirts (long sleeves), black and white polos (short sleeves), black pants, khaki pants, black cocktail dress, etc. If there is a special uniform request, please let me know. If time permits, on the day of, I like to arrive early, and go over everything, and get started
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I am college educated, and well traveled. I know about different cultures. I have worked religious holiday parties. I am familiar with international food. I am TIP certified in NYS. TIP certified refers to an alcohol training program that most US states require of some of the employees
