I truly wanted to establish a long term relationship with this business but the lack of details, laziness, and Unprofessionalism left me with this rating. Upon initial consultation, I was clear in the walk through of what I expected. I advertised for a one time deep cleaning with a description that included the oven. During walk through, I reiterated the areas of concern to include the oven. When the cleaning day/time arrived, two ladies showed instead of the four I was told. They were early and I appreciated that. I left soon thereafter reviewing the list with one of the owners, Amelia. I couldn't believe the state of the house when I returned...kitchen floors were sticky and had not been mopped, oven wasn't even touched, vacuuming was done sparingly around moveable folding children's chair, dishes were left in the dishwasher that wasn't even turned off, blinds weren't cleaned, trash wasn't taken out, the toaster wasn't even moved to get the crust behind it...the list just went on. Upon reaching out, I was immediately met with comments like, "my worker must have forgotten" and"this is our first complaint". I was asked for feedback and when I provided it, those were the results. After several texts, I agreed for them to come back and resolve the issues. The cleanup occurred yesterday...my kitchen floors are still sticky and the list wasn't addressed. Additionally, I was told that because I require a detailed cleaning (beyond a 3hr period) that the recurring fee of $120 that I was told in person needed to be $190 instead. As a business owner myself, word of advise...don't engage in bait and switch, be detailed and provide a quality cleaning, be professional at all times and avoid pretentious comments and behavior since you never know who you'll come into contact with. I think your business could work but you must change your approach and avoid "sneaky" behavior. Good luck...I'm afraid I will not continue as a patron.
Vivacious Cleaning Services, LLC's reply
Hi Sherri, Thanks for the feedback. I'm sorry that you weren't satisfied with the services we provided. I do want to clarify a few things about what happened for the benefit of customers reading this review. Sherri asked for a one-time clean through Thumbtack, and our standard charge for it is $120. Upon arriving at her house, she explained to us that she was actually looking for a "recurring" clean. Please note that we charge differently for recurring and one-time cleaning. I've informed her that the price will change after we finish the cleaning. She wasn't pleased with the outcome of the clean, so we agreed to come back free-of-charge to correct the issue, and have explained that if she still wants to do business with us, recurring clean will be for $190. The price went up because she wanted the additional services such as dishwashing, bed making, stove cleaning, and cabniet washing. Because the area was huge, approximately 3000 square feet, I felt it was only reasonable to increase the price because more work will be involved. She was okay with the price, and we shook hands. We then have received this review. I apologize if you weren't satisfied with the cleaning, and I'm willing to go back and provide free cleaning one more time to ensure you're completely satisfied with our services. However, the price for further recurring cleaning will still be $190 as I feel it is a reasonable price taking into account what the services included are. Thank you.
