Introduction: Chris Brinkley is a graduate of the Chesapeake Sheriffs academy. He has been a Sheriff since 2001. Prior to that he worked in private security. I have over 20 years experience in Security and Law enforcement. My training has been conflict resolution, prisoner control and restraining, cell extractions, defensive tactics asp baton, oc spray and firearms. I am currently a General and Defensive Tactics Instructor. I also have over 15 years of teaching experience to include the private security sector, corporate and military personnel. I am also well versed in Martial arts and hold rank in Judo and Jujitsu. I currently teach my on program called Total Defense. My method of instruction is to create a positive learning environment where fear and uncertainty are replaced with knowledge understanding and self confidence.

I really enjoyed his self-defense training classes. He provided several quick and easy tips. They seemed very practical skills that I could use anytime. I also enjoyed getting to practice the skills with other women and discuss different real world scenarios.

Officer Chris Brinkley is one of the best teachers I have ever had the privilege of learning from.
I've been in classes where Chris had students from ages 8 to 80 and all were engaged and learning.
He is aware and professional.
We learn how to avoid danger and protect ourselves if we are. He is very aware that danger may come from strangers and those we know.
NOW is the time. The holidays are approaching and this when good people are most vuniable.
